The name of our hotel derives from the original Taino inhabitants
who lived peacefully on Hispaniola and other Caribbean islands,
well before Columbus discovered the Island in 1492.
Their intimate communion with nature, their love for life,
the bountiful waters and forests, and their social structure
hold a sacred fascination that still can be felt today. Some
Taino artifacts and pieces are displayed in our hotel lobby
to insure that the magic and awe of this culture will not
fade.
Villa Taina has set a high standard of excellence in what
is today a new concept in accommodation on the north coast
of the Dominican Republic: unmatched ambience combined with
affordable comfort and services.
The hotel offers comfortable, tastefully furnished rooms;
all units are air-conditioned. A spacious balcony or terrace
