Cabarete. About thirty minutes away is the 18 hole Golf course
at Playa Dorada and about sixty minutes drive in Playa Grande
you find one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Caribbean
designed by the celebrated architect Robert Trent Jones, where
ten of the eighteen holes are played right along the sea cliff.

Sailing, Motorcycle tours, Canyoing, Whale watching (January
through March), City Tours to Santiago de Caballeros or Santo

like the first church in the new world.

Nightlife in Cabarete:
If the daytime activities do not leave you exhausted, then
the nighttime activities will. Start the evening by indulging
in any one of the fabulous international restaurants on Cabarete's
main street. Around 11 pm Cabarete changes from a peaceful
beach town into a thriving, vibrant celebration. Cuba libre
(rum and coke) may be the two most commonly spoken words in
Cabarete. From romantic bars to discotheques on the beach,
the bar scene in Cabarete caters to all sorts of appetites.
Bars and restaurants present a wide variety of live music
from jazz to merengue to heavy rock.
